About Us

Student Bylines is for everyone. It is written by teens not just for teens, but for anyone interested in art, photography, or writing of any kind. We currently print one issue annually--check out a preview of our first annual issue here. An online edition of Student Bylines will be updated every month. Those featured in the online edition may or may not be published in the print edition. The online edition will feature book/movie reviews, interviews with fellow teen authors/artists, and articles on writing. Plus the usual poetry, short stories, essays, drawings, paintings and more. We look for work that raises the bar of teen writing and art. We know this can be a difficult feat to accomplish. That is why we offer a free critique service for writers--Student Bylines is here to help in any way we can. Student Bylines is based in the Northwest of the United States. With that in mind we tend to focus our distribution of the print edition in the Washington, Oregon, and Idaho area. We also tend to favor submissions from the Northwest, but will consider your work no matter where you are submitting from. Student Bylines is published by Anixaro Publishing. Anixaro is based in the Inland Northwest and is a new independent publishing company dedicated to inspiring and informing not only those living in the Northwest, but all around the world.
